Singapore 2024: Scientific Program Preview
Now that you have your abstract results, here is a preview for what to expect for the 350 sessions in the Scientific Program. (More information will be sent to authors.)
- 216 Digital Poster Sessions (16 abstracts each): Digital posters will use a new structured HTML format including high-level summary that links to positions in an 8-min video to enhance discussion to a varying audience and provide better browsing and navigation. (I will describe this in more detail in a few weeks.)
- 24 Traditional Poster Sessions (310 total), combined with 75 “AMPC Highlights” of the meeting where other presenters are invited to additionally present a poster.
- 32 Power Pitch Sessions (20 abstracts each), which will be held in 3 power pitch theaters, with twenty 2-minute pitches followed by an hour using the new digital poster format.
- 81 Oral Sessions (761 total): In 2024, oral presentations will return to 9-minute talks with 3 minutes for discussion. Many oral sessions will begin with a 12-minute introduction to the area and/or a 12-min guided discussion at the end, both to enhance audience connection.
All presenters should be on site, and remote attendees have complete access to materials. Oral and power pitch presentations will be streamed, and there is a discussion platform available. Digital posters (including power pitch posters) will be available for digital browsing throughout the meeting.
We are asking all oral session presenters to explicitly accept their presentation; if plans change, we will try to fill these slots to avoid gaps in sessions. Oral session and traditional poster presenters are NOT required to submit videos this year, but a video will be part of the new digital poster format (to be explained soon).
The preliminary program-at-a-glance is at https://www.ismrm.org/24/24program.htm . This is your best guide to the meeting, so bookmark it. We will be finalizing and adding the scientific session times soon, as well as other features to make navigating the meeting easier!
And don’t forget the Challenges (challenge.ismrm.org)! “Repeat It with Me: Reproducibility Team Challenge” has a pre-registration deadline of 28 February 2024. “Clinical Translation Challenge: Unmet Needs” has a deadline to respond by 13 March 2024, and details are coming soon for the 2024-25 version.
Now go and book those flights and hotels and register for a fantastic meeting!
