Updates from the AMPC & Call for Late-Breaking Abstracts

We are thrilled to announce that we received a record-high number of abstract submissions. Congratulations to all of you who made it through this highly competitive process! All submitted abstracts underwent a rigorous standard procedure and received at least three reviews per abstract (most received five). Scores were normalized and averaged, and these were used as guidance when building the program. We also heavily relied on the comments written by the reviewers, so we encourage future volunteers to provide this feedback.

The program is built by the Annual Meeting Program Committee members (about 80 of them). During the three-day construction meeting in January, they were asked to create an exciting scientific program while being fair-minded and considering diversity and inclusion. If you want to see how the annual meeting program is built, you also have a chance to be part of it. Please sign up as a volunteer for this committee.

It is one of the most popular and rewarding committees of ISMRM. Now that your abstract has been accepted, we expect you to be physically present at the venue. In the past, we have seen some presenters not showing up, which is disappointing for the audience members who wanted to interact with you. So, please make sure to plan your trip to Honolulu. Hawai’i is indeed a paradise!

One last announcement: We are calling for late-breaking abstracts with a deadline in mid-March. We are looking for submissions in two categories: Sustainability and Response to Unmet Needs from Singapore. You will see these announcements in a moment, so please be prepared to participate!
